What's next at Studio36?

Studio36

Groundhog Day anyone??

Weird place we have found ourselves in. Somewhere in between lockdown and life as we once knew it. Limbo. We are still a wee way off 'normality', but there is light at the end of the tunnel...

What is next stage for Studio36? Well, the short answer is 'we will wait for government guidance?! and abide by all the rules so..not quite sure yet', but the longer answer is that the glorious days of the summer are fast approaching, and we need to make some plans.

I am currently chatting with Studio36 teachers to navigate our way forward. Normally our Spring/ Summer term completes at the end of June and we alter the schedule for the Summer until we reconvene in September. As you may just have already suspected...this Summer is slightly different! We do not expect many clients to be away, and if they do escape..it's likely to be mostly UK based. But we know you all need a break. Will keep you posted.

As far as the studio reopening is concerned, the most likely thing is that privates and 2:1 sessions would be introduced first, with classes following. Priority will always be client safety and comfort. Just none of us sure yet re timeline. Again will keep you posted.

On a more upbeat note, we are forever grateful for your perseverance and patience with ZOOM classes. We recognise it is not always perfect, but it has kept us moving really well, body awareness on point, and socially connected. It has quite literally has been a lifeline of communication for some folks.

From personal experience it is amazing how much you can see and correct... and also be seen and corrected!! (I am loving my three classes a week I am doing with BCP teachers!..although one is quite scary, did post on Facebook about that one!)

Many clients are now doing two classes or more a week which is fantastic. Thank you once more for all  kindness and commitment to the studio. We also realise it is not possible for some clients to attend sessions, for lots of reasons, and we look forward to welcoming you back with open arms (well, second thoughts, maybe a socially distant hug)... when the time is right.

We will definitely endeavour to offer a comprehensive service over the summer to keep you all going..I know its not the same as a sunny spacious studio but ...
• You can roll out of your bed and onto the mat.
• You can pretend the video doesn't work and be in your jammies.
• Your dog, cat, hamster and very often children! can join in.
• You can have a gin and tonic in your water bottle and we wouldn't know! (evenings only ??..please!)
• We will have a lovely Studio36 reunion party, I promise, once the brakes are well and truly let off..
